Asian Dipping Sauce

Asian Dipping Sauce is really easy to make at home. Just whisk together the ingredients and adjust the quantity of ingredients for various variation. You can use this sauce as a dip for Asian inspired recipes and also great sauce to toss in noodles or rice. The sauce recipe can be made sweet or spicy, you could adjust the honey or chili sauce according to taste.

All you have to do is mix them and adjust with hot water till required consistency. You can find all the ingredients in the Asian section of the grocery store.

 

 

Ingredients you’ll need:

1/2 cup light soy sauce
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
2 tbsp Sriracha – or to taste
1 tbsp Chili garlic sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
Honey to adjust spicy level to taste

The chili garlic sauce is not too hot and has a light hint of sweetness.

Mix all ingredients till all sauces combine well to form a thick sauce. Add a tbsp warm water if the sauce is very thick. Whisk everything together till the sauces blend.

Serve as a dipping sauce with Asian-inspired dishes like summer rolls|fresh rolls, dumplings or fried tofu.
